OOOOOHHH We're halfway there!

We never really know what will happen when we venture outside with Wally. Will he hold our hand as we walk? If he runs, will he stay on the sidewalk or wander into the road? Now that we live in a downtown neighborhood instead of a seminary campus, walking out the front door takes you to the street rather than a hallway in an apartment building. It's a bit scary knowing how dangerous a street can be.

At the end of our block there is a magnificent Catholic church. Wally calls it the Castle Church. This week he asked to go for a walk and Charles courageously took him. When they got to the part of our block where the Castle Church stands, Wally wanted to go inside. Morning mass had just ended. Charles hesitated. What would happen inside? Would Wally run and climb over all the pews? Yell and make loud noises?

It's moments like these that I wish we had a service dog to go with Wally. It's also times like these when I'm thankful that we will have a service dog someday. And that day isn't too far away because

WE ARE HALFWAY THERE!

That's right! You've helped us raise over $13,000 so far and we just have $11,000 more to go! Will you consider giving a year-end gift to help us reach our goal by Christmas? Click here to give:
